Redefining the boundaries of speed. Is it possible?

A synergistic challenge, months of incredibly intense work, a joint project orchestrated by our Innovation Lab together with Stefan Küng and all the staff of the Groupama - FDJ Performance Center.

The aim of the project?

Simple: to improve the aerodynamic performance of our time trial bikes by at least 10%. 

The result? Supersonica SLR: the new time trial and triathlon frame that improves aerodynamic efficiency by almost 16%* compared to our previous time trial frame.

* Data collected in wind tunnel from comparative tests (Supersonica SLR vs Turbine SLR) with wind at 50km/h and a turbulence factor of 0.3%.

R&D

2 prototypes built, dozens of kilograms of 3D printing, over 50 hours of computer simulations, 30 hours spent between the wind tunnel at Silverstone (UK), the velodrome in Switzerland and road tests in Belgium. These figures emphasise how much dedication lies behind such a high performing and demanding product.

Supersonica SLR however is much more than just the best time trial bike we’ve ever built. Supersonica SLR constitutes a veritable technological revolution that today represents the pinnacle of our innovative ability and demonstrates how valuable it is to work with some of the world's most experienced and powerful athletes.


Custom aero extensions

You'll be able to customise your Supersonica SLR aerodynamic extensions with optical forearm scanning and subsequent production, with a choice of 3D printed titanium or premium quality carbon laminate.




Shipping

We can ship to virtually any address in Australia. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.

When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.

Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full kgs.

Please note once goods have been paid in full and send via freight company Chain Gang is not liable for lost or damage goods, any duties and taxes that may need to be paid.

Returns

The Customer may return or exchange unused Goods in its original packaging within 7 days of receiving them for a full reimbursement less all freight charges and less a 10% handling / administration charge.

Chain Gang reserves the right to refuse to accept such returns under any circumstance, examples may include – superseded Products, Products altered or damaged, Products specifically provided for the Customer.

Products returned after 7 days may be returned to Chain Gang, at the Chain Gang’s complete discretion. Such returns will attract a minimum 25% restocking and handling fee (plus all transport costs). Additional charges may apply depending on how long the Customer has been in physical possession of the Products.
