NEW 1:0.8 RATIO REPLACES 2:1 RATIO
– A 1:0.8 ratio of glucose to fructose increases the percentage of ingested carbohydrate that is oxidized (known as efficiency) from 62% to 74% when compared with a ratio of 2:1
– A 1:0.8 ratio of glucose to fructose reduces self-reported symptoms of stomach fullness when compared with a ratio of 2:1
THE SCIENCE BEHIND BETA FUEL HAS EVOLVED
Through our Performance Solutions team, we’ve worked closely with elite athletes in the research and development of the new Beta Fuel range to bring you a scientifically superior fuel in a range of formats that allow you to use +17% more carbohydrate (O’Brien et al, 2013).
– A ratio of 1:0.8 enhances exogenous CHO oxidation compared with 2:1 ratio by 17% (O’Brien et al) and 10% (O’Brien et al)
– A ratio of 1:0.8 enhances mean power output during 10 maximal sprint efforts by 3% compared with 2:1 ratio (O’Brien et al)
– A ratio of 1:0.8 increases % of ingested CHO that was oxidised (efficiency) from 62% (2:1) to 74% (1:0.8) (O’Brien et al)
– A ratio of 1:0.8 reduces symptoms of stomach fullness and nausea when compared with a ratio of 2:1 (O’Brien et al)

When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.
Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full kgs.
Please note once goods have been paid in full and send via freight company Chain Gang is not liable for lost or damage goods, any duties and taxes that may need to be paid.
Returns
The Customer may return or exchange unused Goods in its original packaging within 10 days of receiving them for a full reimbursement less all freight charges and less a 10% handling / administration charge.
Chain Gang reserves the right to refuse to accept such returns under any circumstance, examples may include – superseded Products, Products altered or damaged, Products specifically provided for the Customer.
Products returned after 10 days may be returned to Chain Gang, at the Chain Gang’s complete discretion. Such returns will attract a minimum 25% restocking and handling fee (plus all transport costs). Additional charges may apply depending on how long the Customer has been in physical possession of the Products.
