The Black Inc Shimano Cassette Body can be used for multiple drivetrain brands, most commonly SRAM and Shimano of course. Optimised with CeramicSpeed bearings.

The Black Inc Shimano Cassette Body has been engineered to provide low friction and quick engagement in order to make the most out of the aero efficiency of our wheels. It is available with stainless steel bearings or upgradable to CeramicSpeed bearings for a smooth, practically friction-free ride.
We work directly with CeramicSpeed for all our hubs, which is why we offer the Shimano freehub body with ceramic bearings as an option. CeramicSpeed bearings are based directly on the technology developed as part of NASA’s space program in the 1990s. CeramicSpeed bearings are produced using top-grade Silicon Nitride ceramic balls which provide an instant upgrade from steel bearings. We design our hubs according to the extremely high tolerances that CeramicSpeed handmade bearings allow for.
In both configurations, either with stainless steel or CeramicSpeed bearings, Black Inc Shimano Cassette Body offers extensive durability and lightweight efficiency. Fast engagement and equally reliable disengagement when coasting are hallmarks of the Shimano freehub performance.
Shipping
We can ship to virtually any address in Australia. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.
When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.
Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full kgs.
Please note once goods have been paid in full and send via freight company Chain Gang is not liable for lost or damage goods, any duties and taxes that may need to be paid.
Returns
The Customer may return or exchange unused Goods in its original packaging within 7 days of receiving them for a full reimbursement less all freight charges and less a 10% handling / administration charge.
Chain Gang reserves the right to refuse to accept such returns under any circumstance, examples may include – superseded Products, Products altered or damaged, Products specifically provided for the Customer.
Products returned after 7 days may be returned to Chain Gang, at the Chain Gang’s complete discretion. Such returns will attract a minimum 25% restocking and handling fee (plus all transport costs). Additional charges may apply depending on how long the Customer has been in physical possession of the Products.
